Jalalabad Jame Masjid was established in 1996, it is located in the heart of Luton’s Muslim community which is situated approximately a mile from the town centre. The masjid enjoys being able to accommodate about 1000 muslims and provide spacious wudu (ablution) facilties and ample parking space.
In addition to the usual five daily prayers, the masjid provides other educational, recreation and personal services. The masjid currently offers Arabic classes in the evening for children, funeral services and organises regular Islamic events. Jalalabad Jame Masjid has played host to various renowned Islamic speakers.
Jalalabad Jame Masjid is funded entirely on the kind donations of its patrons and visitors. The masjid relies heavily on the continuing kindness of its patrons.
